ConnecTech Webinar - Digital Forensics Law
TROY - A recently passed law requires private detectives and investigators to be licensed by the State of Michigan. In addition to traditional gumshoes, the law also applies to those engaged in investigating computer forensics such as the consultant your organization might retain to assist you in the event of a network security breach. ConnecTech is hosting a webinar on July 8 that will feature security professionals and state officials who will explain what the new law means to the Security community.
Date: 7/8/2008
Time: 11am-noon
Cost: This event is free to ConnecTech, RSA, and ISSA professionals. All digital forensics and security consultants are welcome to attend.
Location: WebEx (webinar)
Event Description:
This ConnecTech and MIRSA-sponsored event is a panel discussion featuring Peter Psaraoutchakis from the Michigan Council of Private Investigators, who authored the bill, Kathy Ossian from Miller Canfield, and Duane Hopkins from Innovative Corporate Solutions.
