Friendfeed: A Powerful Tool for Communicating with Your Contacts

As you begin to develop your social networking strategy, managing the disparate parts can become increasingly tedious.

As such I’d like to introduce you to a fabulous service called friendfeed.

It enables you to submit your social networking accounts which then stream into one manageable feed that people can subscribe to. Folks can then get a better sense of everything you’re doing online whilst saving you time from duplicating the same content.

Another element that I love is the Friendfeed widget that can be embedded within your Facebook profile, blog, website or any other number of services that facilitates it thus allowing interaction with a wider audience.

But why is this tool important?  It allows your readers to get a 360 degree view of your social media imprint across services such as YouTube, Twitter, RSS blog feeds, Stumble Upon, Delicious and Google Reader to name but a few.

Remember the more times you are able to communicate with your contacts in a non-intrusive way, the more successful you will be. Friendfeed offers an ideal platform to interact, share and discuss content and give a sense of your attitude and tone of voice online.

Have you tried Friendfeed yet?  What makes it a worthwhile tool for you? Share your thoughts below, I’d love to hear from you!

    5. As I browsed through a tones of sites, I feel I should even internet market my site. I’m basically a computer graphics person, but I sometimes feel that it will be time consuming, but what’s also the harm in doing it.

    6. A very nice and concise view of what Friendfeed can really do for you. There’s so much stuff on the ‘net it’s hard to keep track of it all and what does what.

      Keep the articles coming.

    15. I’ve just implemented this into one of my sites and I must say that I really like it. One thing I noticed is that at least with the minimal testing I’ve done is that it seems to take forever to post using Ajax Comments. The comment gets posted on the blog but it just sits there spinning since it’s connecting to FriendFeed I guess.

    16. I have used friendfeed with a lot of success, in integrating different applications.
