Bruce Goldwell Endorses Pyrabang
StevenBruce Goldwell, International Author and Success Coach, believes he has found another one of those pearls of the internet. A new media outlet has just recently launched and it is beginning to explode across the world wide web as people sign-up to use this service minute by minute.
This new resource is called Pyrabang with a byline of ’The New Media ~ Is You‘. Members post their favorite links to news, videos, blogs and other links that they find interesting and want to share with others. Then other members can help move the post along by investing what members so lovingly refer to as ‘BANGS’. Bangs give the posting more exposures across the Pyrabang network. These postings are exposed on web sites via ‘ad boxes’ much like Google and other ads and in Pyrabang’s email system and via other resources.
Here’s what Goldwell had to say:

Pyrabang is a community of internet users that enjoy sharing with others. I am getting to see web sites I would not have found otherwise. Not only does Goldwell use the Pyrabang system to promote his books and other things he promotes, he is also helping other members in Pyrabang to build their own network. Bruce has created several web pages with content specific to Pyrabang that other members can share as well. When members ‘Invest’ in a posting - that ‘Post’ is then added to their own ‘Porfolio’ of links. They can then go to their ‘Portfolio’ and get their personalized link to that same content.
Those that are members of Pyrabang log in to use the system. Some of the options available when logged in are: Welcome - Grab Code! - PyraMail - Portfolio - FAQ -Post! - and Group just to name a few. Others who are Not logged in only see: FAQ - Visit - Members Bangit and a box to enter a User Name with a button titled ‘Start Banging’.
The ‘User Name’ and ‘Start Banging’ button allows those viewing pages shown through the system to enroll right from the viewing window. Non-members will see the Pyrabang bar at the top of their browser with the box to enter a ‘User Name’. They make up a name to enter in the box then they can press ‘Start Banging’ which starts the sign-up process. Pyrabang calls it the ‘10 Second Sign-Up’.

What kind of quality control do they have over stories, feeds, etc getting an inflated number of “bangs” by less than honest users?

I checked out the link and it looks like a very interesting and worthwhile program. I may join when I get a chance as it could be just what I’m after.
