You have learned some lessons, now act upon them. All too often people get caught up trying to learn everything, so much so that they don’t apply what they have learned. Knowledge that is not being used is ignorance. If you are not going to use what you learn, what is the value of learning in the first place.

10 Insider Tips for Twitter Success

1.  Avoid automation. People instantly unfollow people who write like bots.  Show that you are human by writing each of your tweets. It’s one thing if you write them and schedule them to go out later, but don’t publish automatic pre-scripted tweets.

2.  Be personal.  Personal tweets let people see who you are.  If your tweets are just about your niche, then followers may think you’re just a robot.  Lesson: Post occasional tweets that aren’t strictly about your niche.

Twitter Launching User Created Follow Lists

Do you have trouble finding interesting content on Twitter, or miss wanted updates because you are following too many tweeters?

Twitter is about to roll out Lists, a feature currently in testing, that will allow you to create your own custom lists of Twitter users that others can then follow with one click.

Lists will be public by default, which means your creations will be available for the world to view. Even better is that developers will be able to tap into the functionality to add the official Twitter Lists feature into their apps.
