Manage Multiple Gmail Accounts
Google announced a new Gmail feature called e-mail delegation
This new addition will allow you to manage multiple Gmail accounts without signing in and out of Gmail to switch accounts.
With this change, it will be much easier for any Gmail user with multiple accounts of his or her own.
When you sign into the Gmail account that you want to access from your primary login, you can choose to grant access to another account.
Here’s how:
1. Click the Settings link, and select the Accounts tab.
2. Under ‘Grant access to your account,’ click the Add another account link.
3. Enter the email address of the person you’d like to access your account and click Next Step.
4. You’ll see a confirmation message. Click Send email to grant access if you’re sure.
5. The delegate will receive a verification email explaining that you’ve granted access to them.
* After the delegate confirms this request, it may take up to 30 minutes for the verification process to be completed. To see if the delegate has confirmed access to your account, look at the Accounts tab in Settings
You can access the account from your primary account by clicking the down-arrow next to your email address in the upper-left corner.
Select your other email address from the drop-down menu.
I have previously used the “Send mail as:” and “Check mail using POP3:” options for using my primary account for sending and receiving of my old ISP mailbox.
I am not sure if I will use this new feature or not.
Do you think that you will use it? Why or why not?

I know I’ll be using this latest feature from Gmail. I love gmail and I have several accounts that are connected to my different blogs in different niches. I use up so much time logging in and out of all these accounts that being able to manage them all from one login will save me time. Thanks for the step by step, I’m copying it and referring to it as I set this up. Cheers!

I’m always slightly concerned about google knowing too much about me and I think if you link google accounts then it will give them even more information.
Maybe I’m just being paranoid though?

I have a lot of Gmail accounts too. And it is a time wasting thing if you will sign out and then sign in again. I think that would really help me to manage my mail accounts that are so many. I’ll be using it right away. Thanks for the info!

That…is…awesome. Never knew about that feature before, and flicking between Gmail accounts was definitely getting old.
